Today's the day - launch day for the latest in the Psychic Surveys series - Old Cross Cottage!

A place with a very chequered history (and once an Inn), I've drawn on fact and weaved in and around it a work of fiction - and certainly all those who've stayed here have either 'seen' or 'heard' things that can very much be considered outside of normal and i.e. paranormal. These are expressed by owner of the cottage, Rachel Bell, in Chapter Two - leading Ruby to investigate a case that has its roots deep in village history. The village that that cottage itself is set in is very historic but I've changed the name in order to protect its privacy - suffice to say it is in Dorset, and set on a crossroads, tapping into all that wonderful mythology that clings to such a location...

The descriptions of the cottage too are real - including the coffin lid stairs, the hook in the living room, the in between room and those deep set windows - here's a few interior pics:

Scheduled for release in August 2017, The Soprano is my new supernatural thriller - a stand-alone novel, and quite seperate from the Father of Lies trilogy (occult horror). Here is the new cover and a brief plot summary.  I hope it whets your appetite...

Brief Synopsis:
January 1951, and the North Staffordshire Moors sees one of the worst snow storms in living memory. Lasting for three weeks, it completely cuts off the isolated and staunchly Methodist village of Packmoor. But while the hardy community bunkers down, trying to keep warm and fend off illness, a family vendetta spanning three generations and rooted in black witchcraft, is about to culminate in one of the most shocking crimes imaginable.

I am on schedule for a summer release and will bring it to you definitely by August ( possibly by July). The novel has taken unexpected turns as always (it's beyond my comprehension how that happens) and is now far more ghostly and wicked than I...
